Roulette

Roulette is a game of chance and consists of a Roulette wheel and table. The outcome of a game of Roulette is determined by where the ball stops on the wheel. Once the bets are placed on the table, a small ball is released on to the spinning wheel, in the opposite direction to the spin. The ball stops in one of the numbered pockets of the Roulette wheel.

The objective of Roulette is to predict the number the ball will stop on. You place a bet on your prediction.

Cinema Online Casino offers Roulette, Roulette Royale, American Roulette and French Roulette.

Roulette

Winning bets in Roulette pay out as follows:

Bet Name Odds
Straight bet 35:1
Split bet 17:1
Street bet 11:1
Square bet 8:1
Line bet 5:1
Column bet 2:1
Dozen bet 2:1
Even-Money bet 1:1

Examples:
  1. If you bet one coin on a Straight bet, and your selected number comes up, you are paid 36 coins. The odds on a Straight bet are 35:1. So, 1 coin bet + 35 coins won = 36 coins payout.

  2. If you bet five coins on a Dozen bet, and your selected number comes up, you are paid 15 coins. The odds on a Dozen bet are 2:1. So, 5 coins bet + 10 coins won = 15 coins payout.
There are two types of bets in Roulette. They are:
  • Inside Bets
This is when you place a bet on any Roulette number on the table from 0-36.

  • Outside Bets
This is when you place a bet outside of the table layout, such as Red or First 12.

The different bets are as follows:

Inside Bets

Bet Name Description of Bet

Split bet A bet on two adjacent numbers, also known as a two-number bet. The chip is placed on the line that separates the numbers.

Square bet A bet on a block of four numbers, also known as a four-number bet. The chip is placed on the spot in the center of your four straight numbers.
Line bet A bet on six numbers, comprising two adjacent rows, also known as a six-number line bet. The chip is placed on the line above Dozen bets so that it rests between the two rows that you want to cover.

Outside Bets

Column bet A bet on one of the three vertical columns. The chip is placed at the bottom of the columns.
Dozen bet A bet on twelve numbers - either high, middle or low. The chip is placed on one of the following areas First 12, Second 12 or Third 12.
Even-Money bet A bet on eighteen numbers. The chip is placed on one of the following squares, Even, Odd, Red, Black, 1-18 or 19-36.

You can Place different bet types on the table during a Roulette game.

Online Blackjack

Online Blackjack is an Online Gamblinggame of skill and chance between you and the Dealer. It is played with between one and six standard decks of cards.

Cinema Casino features multiple versions of Online Blackjack, including: Bonus Blackjack, Double Exposure Blackjack, Super Fun 21 Blackjack, Blackjack, Multi-hand Blackjack, Triple 7's Progressive Blackjack, Vegas Strip Blackjack, Vegas Downtown Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack and Spanish Blackjack.

The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust.

Note:
Online Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands It cannot be beaten, only matched.

Blackjack

Winning hands in Blackjack pay out as follows:

  • If you win with a Blackjack . you will be paid out at odds of 3 to 2 on your original bet. So if you bet 10 you would win 25.

  • For any normal winning hand of Blackjack the payout will double your bet. So, if you bet 10 you would win 20.

  • If you lose against a Dealer's Blackjack and have taken Insurance you are paid out at odds of 1 to 1.5 on your original bet. So, if you bet 10 you are paid 15.

Terminology

Online Blackjack - This is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of 10. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. It cannot be beaten, only matched.

21 - This is when the value of the cards dealt equals 21, but is not a Blackjack. For example, Nine of Spades, a Four of Diamonds and an Eight of Clubs equals 21.Note: Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21.

Denomination - The denomination is the number on the cards, from 2 to 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace.

Value - Jack, Queen and King have the value of 10. The Ace card has the value of either 1 or 11.

Insurance - This is a side bet against the possibility of the Dealer getting Blackjack. You can take Insurance if you do not have Blackjack, and the Dealer's first card is an Ace. Insurance costs half your original bet.

Split - You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand. You have effectively doubled your bet. A new card is dealt to each hand and you play these hands as normal.
Note: Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack, for example a Ten of Diamonds and a Jack of Spades have the same value of 10 but cannot be split because they are not from the same denomination.

Double - This is a side bet that your hand will beat the Dealer's with only one more card drawn. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. You are dealt one card and your hand automatically stands. Doubling costs the same as your original bet. If you win you are paid double your total bet. This win amount is equal to four times your original bet.

Hit - This is when you request another card from the shoe because your hand is not strong enough to beat the Dealer's hand. You are dealt one card.

Bust - If your hand value exceeds 21, your hand is bust. Your hand is over and you lose your bet.

Push - This is when your hand and the Dealer's hand tie. You are paid your original bet.

Stand - This is when you are satisfied with the value of your hand and do not want to draw any more cards. This ends the play of your hand. The Dealer plays his hand and both hands are compared.

So which is better? Playing Online Slots, or playing slots in a casino?

What are the differences between the two? The most obvious difference is staring you right in the face: Your environment. In any land based casino it is part of the casino's game to distract you, and they certainly try, and in an unbelievable number of ways. You could consider it unfortunate that they also succeed in their distractions, but at the same time you would be condemning many of the things that contribute to the honking good time casinos produce: a party atmosphere with games, face-to-face interaction, high stakes, and booze. If you're an Online Gambling slots fan you know exactly what I mean, and this might be stopping you from trying out online slots. Let's look at what playing Online Slots entails, and how it differs from the party that we already enjoy. First off, you're missing the face-to-face interaction, and the impression of being in a large noisy place full of flashing lights and noises. Losing the face-to-face interaction can disappoint, but it would be a greater loss in games like blackjack or poker. Slots definitely have a less competitive nature, you're cheering for yourself. But playing Online Slots can free you from this genius plot by the casinos to distract you while they take your money. You set your own environment at home, with as much or as little distraction as you like! Online Slots games have a little way to go yet before they can simulate the craziness of a real casino, but we can treat this as a good thing. The bad thing is of course... no cocktail waitress.

The question that invariably comes up when you compare a non-digital game like casino slots to the digitized versions you find like online slots is that over odds. What some people don't realize is that the slots you find in the casinos are actually computers themselves. The same type of software an online slot machine is, is embedded in hardware chips in casino slot machines. So this 'non-digital' game is in fact digital to its core. Slots looseness is *always* a calculated number, and has been for decades. So if you're hesitant about trying out online slots because you think it's a more calculated game, it isn't. This isn't to say that the odds can't be stacked against you, but that is the decision of the online casino, much as it is the decision of the land based casinos. They've been doing that since before the word electronic ever existed (check out our history page). I don't have much to say about where to gamble, but many online slots portals have articles about just this issue. You should also check out some basic math to set your mind straight.

So what's the answer to the question we opened with? Online of course! Just TRY going to the Monte Carlo in your bath-gown! What do the land based casinos have anymore? The fact that they pay you real cash? You can do that online now too, so say goodbye to Vegas and all those expensive airplane rides: start playing at your computer, safe and sound and comfortable from your own home.

Poker

Cinema Casino features an amazing collection of Online Poker games, including a few progressive poker.

Video Poker Online Gambling is played between you and the Dealer. You are dealt five cards in the first hand. When you receive your first hand, choose the cards to hold or discard. The cards you discard are replaced with new ones from the deck.

The objective is to complete the game with the strongest hand. The payout is dependent on the value of the hand you are holding. If you win your hand, you can increase your winnings by participating in a Doubling phase.

The object of the Doubling phase is to draw a card of higher value than the Dealer's card. If you select a card of higher value, your win amount is doubled and you can choose to repeat the Doubling phase again, or collect your winnings.

Online Gambling

Baccarat is an Online Gambling game of chance and skill between you and the Banker. It is played with a single standard deck of 52 cards. There are three types of bets and the game odds are high.

The objective of the game of Baccarat is to predict whose hand, the Banker's or the Player's, will be closer to the value of nine. You can also bet on the possibility of a tie.

Cinema Online Casino offers Baccarat and High Limit Baccarat.

Baccarat

Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins.

If the hand you bet on wins, the payout is as follows:

Hand Combination Payout
Banker's Hand Wins 2x the bet - 5% commission on winnings for the House
Baccarat Player's Hand Wins 2x the bet
Tie 8x the bet

If the Baccarat hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie.If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet.If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission.

If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.

The winning hand is the one with a value closest to nine.

The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the total of the cards. The card values are:

Card Face Value (Any Suit) Card Point Value
King 0
Queen 0
Jack 0
10 0
9 9
8 8
7 7
6 6
5 5
4 4
3 3
2 2
Ace 1

If the total of a hand exceeds nine, the value of the hand is the "unit" portion of the total. For more information, see the examples below.

If the hand you bet on wins, you are paid out according to the Baccarat Payout Schedule.

Examples:

  1. A hand consists of an Eight of Clubs and a Seven of Diamonds . The point values are 8 and 7, so the total of the hand is 8 + 7 = 15. As the "tens" portion of the total is ignored, the value of the hand is five.

  2. A hand consists of a Nine of Spades , a Two of Hearts and a Nine of Diamonds . The point values are 9, 2 and 9, so the total of the hand is 9 + 2 + 9 = 20. As the "tens" portion of the total is ignored, the value of the hand is zero.

Keno

Keno

Keno uses a large board marked with the numbers 1 to 80. In a basket are balls also numbered 1 to 80. Twenty balls are drawn at random.

The objective is to predict the numbers of the twenty balls drawn. You may choose to bet on up to fifteen of the eighty numbers on the board in one play. Play Keno at Cinema Casino now.

Basically your keno strategy should be to enjoy yourself. Sure, that's good advice no matter what game you're playing, but its even better for keno... because there's not too much more to add.

That isn't to say there's nothing to learn. In fact, if you can simply learn to understand your own motivations for playing the game, you'll become a more intelligent player. First of all, lets look at the options available to us, the player, when we first attempt to employ a keno strategy. What variables do we have direct control over? Obviously we control the numbers we pick, and on top of that the number of numbers we pick, and the casinos offer 'way' bets to combine more than one bet on one card. Do these things have an outcome on play? Well you'd be hard pressed to prove that the outcome of a keno game has nothing to do with the numbers that come up, but you could pretty easily say that it has nothing to do with the numbers that you choose. If you can affect the numbers that come up with the numbers that you choose, then you're more than a step ahead of me. Ok then, so what about our other variables? The number of numbers you choose.

The sharp mind is going to say, hey, the odds have to change with the number of numbers I pick, right? I mean, if I pick just two numbers, isn't there a better chance of hitting 100% of those numbers than if I had picked 10? In actuality yes, but as payouts fluctuate with the number of numbers picked, the casinos compensate for any weak mathematics.

Basic bottom line advice? It doesn't really matter how many numbers you choose, or if you combine or wheel your bets. Choose less numbers if you like to win a little bit, a little more often; choose many if you only really want to win once in keno, but you want it to put yourself in the lap of luxury for life.
